What is Expected from You
Bring your professionalism and a positive attitude. We will cover all you need to know about car set etiquette to perform as a stunt driving professional on movie and commercial sets with a great work ethic that is respected by your peers, directors, and stunt coordinators in positions to hire you. The class is designed for you to learn the standards of conduct on set and avoid costly career mistakes. We will teach you everything you need to hit all of your cues and marks on camera while keeping the film crew safe and ecstatic to work with you so that you keep stacking the deck to continue to be a prioritized stunt driver on Hollywood, Netflix, and commercial productions.
Networking with Peers and Instructors
The entire class will be composed of people ready to get into stunt driving AND experienced drivers who want to sharpen their work ethics, as well as, working, experienced professional drivers. Some attending the class are already in the industry in various positions behind and in front of the camera. Your network is important and know that it is common for students to help each other get gigs in the industry. It is highly likely for our students to trade and recommend gigs after the class. It makes it all the more exciting for everyone when you are certified here with Wreckless Stunt Driving and know that people recommending you or people you recommend have great set etiquette and that the situation will be treated with a high level of professionalism.
Technical Requirements
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be 18 years or older.
- Good hearing for radio and in-group communication.
- Bring the car, SUV, or pickup of your choice.
- Your vehicle must be 7 feet or lower and in good street-legal condition.
- No heavy wear maneuvers will be done with your vehicle (convoy, turns, positioning, formation).
- Have at least ¾ of a tank of gas upon your arrival on site.
- No gloves, helmets, special seat belts, or roll cages are needed.
- Closed toes shoes.
- Dress weather-appropriate.
